LEXINGTON, Ky. – The sixth-ranked Georgia gymnastics team posted a team score of 197.275 en route to a victory over No. 23 Kentucky (197.025) on Friday evening at Historic Memorial Coliseum.

 

FAST FACTS

  • Friday’s win is the first SEC road win in the Cécile Canqueteau-Landi and Ryan Roberts era at Georgia. The GymDogs’ 197.275 is their highest SEC road score of the season.
  • Freshman Autumn Reingold captured a share of the bars title, scoring a 9.875 on the event. Fellow freshman Brooke Pierson scored a 9.825, a season high, in her second bars routine of the season.
  • Senior Ja’ Free Scott and sophomore Nyla Aquino each shared the vault title, putting up a 9.900 each.  Scott tied her career high. Georgia did not count a score lower than 9.850 on vault Friday, tying its third-best vault score of the season with a 49.375.
  • Junior Ady Wahl and freshman CaMarah Williams each won a share of the floor title with a 9.925 on the event. Wahl tied her career high. Senior Nicole King made her season debut on floor, scoring a 9.875, finishing fifth on the event.
  • Freshman Kelise Woolford won the beam title outright, tying a season-best 9.950. Scott anchored Georgia’s beam lineup with a 9.900 to clinch the win for the GymDogs in the final rotation.
  • For the second time this season, all five of Georgia’s freshmen competed in Friday’s meet: CaMarah Williams (vault: 9.875, floor: 9.925, beam: 9.075), Kelise Woolford (bars: 9.765, beam: 9.950), Avery Moll (vault: 9.850), Autumn Reingold (bars: 9.875), and Brooke Pierson (bars: 9.825).
