Seminoles Set for Bulldog Invitational Last Chance Meet
ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 13/NR Florida State swimming and diving team will compete at the Bulldog Invitational Last Chance Meet from February 28-March 1 at Gabrielsen Natatorium in Athens, Georgia.
The two-day last-chance meet will include prelims at 10 a.m. ET each day, with finals set for 5 p.m. on Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Saturday’s slate includes the 200 freestyle relay, 100 butterfly, 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 50 freestyle, 800 freestyle relay, 200 backstroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 freestyle and 200 medley relay. Sunday will feature the 400 medley relay, 400 individual medley, 100 freestyle, 200 butterfly, 200 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, 1650 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay.
Competing teams include No. 7/16 Georgia, No. 18 South Carolina women, Howard and Georgia Tech.
The Seminoles will look to improve their season-best times and strengthen their qualifying marks for the NCAA Championships in March.
Florida State’s competing swimmers include seniors Tommaso Baravelli, Sam Bork, Sarah Evans and Julia Mansson, sophomores Mathias Christensen, Fred Lindholm and Daniel Listor and freshmen Lucy Porter and Ioana Stirbu.

Florida State is coming off a record-setting week at the ACC Swimming and Diving Championships from February 15-22 in Atlanta, where the Seminoles won two ACC titles, earned three silver medals and two bronze medals and set 10 program records.
Up next, select Seminoles will compete at the NCAA Championships in March, with the Zone Diving Championships from March 6-11 before the women’s NCAA meet is scheduled for March 18-21 and the men’s meet is set for March 25-28.
