Georgia Track & Field Set for 2026 SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships
College Station, Texas — Georgia track & field starts up postseason with the 2026 Indoor SEC Championships hosted by Texas A&M.
The No. 2 Georgia women and No. 9 Georgia men face a gauntlet of competition with nine of 15 women’s teams and 12 of 16 men’s teams being ranked within the USTFCCCA’s latest top-25.

Last Season at the indoor conference championships the Bulldog women finished fourth while the men finished ninth.
Returning medalists from last year on the women’s side include senior gold medalist Kaila Jackson (60meter dash), two members of the SEC championship winning 4×400 meter relay team senior Dejanea Oakley and sophomore Michelle Smith, and senior and bronze medalist Kelsie Murrell-Ross in the shot put.
On the men’s side, reigning indoor long jump champion Jayden Keys is also set to compete this weekend along with fellow sophomore Will Floyd who posted a runner-up performance in the 400 meter last year.
Competition kicks off with multi events first on the men’s side in the heptathlon with sophomore Maximus Tucker and senior Romet Vahter in the 60 meter dash at Noon. On the women’s side, senior Ella Rush starts off the competition at 12:30 pm.
