ATHENS, Ga. – No. 11 Georgia Bulldogs fell to the Clemson Tigers, 10-1 (6 inn.), on Wednesday night at Jack Turner Stadium to slide to 13-5 on the season.

Fast Facts:

  • Junior LHP Randi Roelling made the start going 4.2 innings with six strikeouts. RHP Destin Howard closed the remainder of the game with three strikeouts.
  • Georgia scored its lone run on a sacrifice ground out by Jaydyn Goodwin to third base in the bottom of the first inning.
  • Up 3-1, the Tiger offense got to work in the fifth inning scoring two runs off of Jamison Brockenbrough’s double to right field. Brockenbrough scored off the next at bat, and a two-run Marian Collins’ homer extended the Clemson lead to 8-1. The Tigers added two more in the sixth.
  • With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 2-4 all-time against Clemson.
