Lacrosse Set to Host No. 11 Boston College
Unbeaten at home, Florida State returns to Tallahassee following a three-game road stretch capped by a neutral-site contest against No. 21 Army at the Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational. Boston College was also featured at the invitational, falling 10-9 in double overtime to No. 12 Michigan.
Florida State’s attack is fueled by senior attacker Lola Mancuso and sophomore midfielder Meg Kenny, who share the team lead with 10 goals each. Over the last three games, Kenny has turned in a four-goal performance and added a hat trick.
The Seminoles have also leaned on freshman production offensively. Amelia Brite has scored in three games this season, including two straight, while Brynn Perkins has scored seven goals this season and Summer Harrell has added five goals.
Defensively, senior Erin Schaefer leads the team in ground balls, while Mary Grace Tibbs and Superia Clark have caused seven and six turnovers, respectively. In goal, senior Catrina Tobin has totaled 23 saves for FSU this season.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for youth, and FSU students have free admission. Tickets can be purchased at seminoles.com/tickets. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. Live stats and video will be available on seminoles.com.
