Noles Return to Tallahassee for Final Homestand of 2025-26, Host Cal on Thursday

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women’s basketball team (9-17, 4-10 ACC) will welcome California (16-11, 7-7 ACC) on Thursday night at 6 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
 
The Seminoles and Golden Bears will meet for the third time in program history, as Cal holds the series lead 2-0.
 
Florida State has four players averaging 8.0 points or more, led by junior guard Solè Williams who is averaging 15.5 points per game. In the previous two games, Williams shot over 50 percent from the floor, leading the team with 23 points against Boston College, converting 10-13 shots. She was 6-10 at No. 9/9 Louisville, contributing 19 points.
 
FSU is one of 24 teams nationally that has five players with 100 or more rebounds this season, led by Pania Davis who has tallied 159. The Seminoles are fifth in the ACC, averaging 41.6 rebounds per game.
 
The game will air on the ACC Network Extra with Melissa Bruner and Shawn Davison on the call. The Seminole Sport Network can be found on 96.5 The Spear and on the Sirius XM app.
 
The Last Time Out
The Seminoles were led by Williams and Allie Kubek at No. 9/9 Louisville on Sunday.
 
Kubek earned her first double-double of the season, posting a season-high of 18 points and 10 rebounds. She shot 7-of-10 from the floor, including two three-pointers, and recorded a pair of blocks. The double-double was the13th of her collegiate career, and she became the fifth different player this season to contribute a double-double.
 
Williams would lead the Seminoles in scoring putting up 19 points as well as pulling down five rebounds and earning a team-leading four assists.  She finished the game 6-of-11 from the floor and was 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
 
Freshman Mari Gerton tied her career best with three steals.
