GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The SEC announced today that Florida’s Brooke Black is the conference’s Women’s Tennis Freshman of the Week for matches played from Feb. 11-17.
The No. 24 Gators (4-1) went 2-0 last week with both matches played as part of a Friday the 13th double-header. Black won her two singles matches, dropping just five games over the four sets to improve to 3-2 in dual matches this spring.
