MELBOURNE, Fla. – The No. 5 Florida women’s golf team finished the third tournament of the spring at the Moon Golf Invitational on Tuesday, finishing in 6th place at Suntree Country Club. The finish outside the top-5 in a regular season event was the first since 2024 and only the second time since the 2023-24 season.

Florida resumes play with the host of the Gators Invitational (March 6-8) at Mark Bostick Golf Course. After the home tournament, UF finishes the regular-season at the Clemson Invitational (March 27-29) before beginning postseason action at the SEC Championship (April 17-21) at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Fla.

Freshman Katelyn Huber logged the low score for UF in the lineup with an even-par 72 for the second consecutive day. She shot 1-under on the back nine and climbed 13 spots to finish T49.

Owning the top finish by a Gator was both Paula Francisco and Megan Propeck in T20 at +3. The top-25 finishes marked the sixth this season for both, tying the team-high set by Huber. Francisco has logged outings of 2nd-T15-T20 to start the spring.

The final two competing this week for the Orange and Blue featured Addison Klonowski in T42 and Siuue Wu T53.
