Women’s Golf Wraps Up Day Two of the Moon Golf Invitational
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Alabama women’s golf team sits in 15th place after the second round of the Moon Golf Invitational with a team total of 29-over par 605 (300-305), Monday afternoon at the Suntree Country Club. Natachanok Tunwannarux remained inside the top-20, ending the day in 17th place on the player leaderboard at 2-over par 146 (72-73).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Natachanok Tunwannarux posted a trio of birdies in the second round, carding a 1-over par 73 for the second straight round
- Ryan Flynn matched Tunwannarux for the team-lead in birdies in the second round (3), ending the day in 24th place at 3-over par 147 (73-74)
- Mattison Frick and Harriet Lockley each carded a 7-over par 79 on the second day of the tournament, as Frick sits in 70thoverall at 10-over par 154 and Lockley is in 83rd place at 14-over par 158
- Grace Crawford rounded out UA’s lineup at 18-over par 162 (79-83) in 87th place
TEAM RESULTS
- No. 6 Texas A&M remains in first place on the team leaderboard at 4-under par 572
- Texas A&M’s Vanessa Borovilos moved into a first place tie with Mississippi State’s Izzy Pellot on the player leaderboard at 6-under par 138
