Athens. Ga. — The University of Georgia men’s tennis team has added Oliver Sanders to its list of signees in the class of 2026, head coach Jamie Hunt has announced.  
 
“I am thrilled to officially welcome Oliver to the Georgia Tennis family,” Hunt said. “He is an outstanding young man that comes from a great family and has the high character we look for in all our players. Oliver has shown so much improvement and finished 2025 by beating a Top 10 ITF Junior and several Top ranked American players. He has a bright future here in Athens!” 
 
Sanders, a native of Prague, Czech Republic, has an ITF Junior Ranking of 114 with 45 Junior wins under his belt. He holds a singles and doubles World Tennis Number of 15.4 and 23.1, respectively.  He was a quarterfinalist at the j500 in Mexico beating the Wimbledon finalist and No. 2 player in the class of 2027 and advanced to the third round at Orange bowl after qualifying and beating the world No. 7. He will finish second in the Czech Republic based on ITF junior rankings.
