Crimson Tide in the NFL: Super Bowl
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Four former Alabama players made an impact in the Seattle Seahawks’ 29-13 win over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday night in Santa Clara, Calif.
Alabama was represented in the game by a league-high seven total players across both rosters including: Christian Barmore, CJ Dippre and Anfernee Jennings of the Patriots along with Josh Jobe, Jalen Milroe, Robbie Ouzts and Jarran Reed of the Seahawks.
The Seahawks’ foursome joined seven Eagles’ players who earned the Lombardi Trophy last season in Philadelphia’s win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX to push the Crimson Tide’s total to 58, the most Super Bowl champions of any college in NFL history.
Following Sunday’s game, former Alabama players have won a total of 31 Super Bowl titles. Additionally, 77 former Crimson Tide players have now played on or been a part of teams in the Super Bowl.
