Ready to take a serious step toward becoming a farmer? Join the Florida Cooperative Extension’s Small Farm Start-up School!
This interactive 9-week program lets you learn directly from established farmers and experts on everything you need to succeed: crop & animal production, business planning, marketing, regulations, and more. It’s evidence-based, unbiased, and packed with practical knowledge!
What’s Included for $299 :
- Business & marketing textbooks
- Printed materials + online access to all resources & course content
- Personalized business plan guidance
- Farm tours + farmer panels
- Networking with peers & experts
When & How It Works (2026 Session):
- Starts April 14, 2026 and runs through June 23, 2026
- Virtual classes every Tuesday, 6:00–8:00 p.m. EST (5:00 – 7:00 PM CST)
- In-person farm tours & networking events at your chosen local site
- Limited to 20 participants per site (minimum required to run)
