Jumps Contingent Highlights Day One of New Mexico Collegiate Classic
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Alabama track and field’s first day of the New Mexico Collegiate Classic was highlighted by a trio of top-three finishes across the high jump and long jump.
Miracle Ailes (women’s, 1.80m | 5-10.75) and My’Kell Beck (men’s, 2.16m | 7-1) both recorded third-place finishes in the high jump, as Beck’s Crimson Tide debut placed him at No. 10 all-time at UA. In the women’s long jump, Caelyn Harris extended her hold at the No. 3 all-time spot at UA with a PR-setting 6.46-meter (21-2.50) performance on her fourth attempt.
