On February 2, the City of Destin Council approved language of a proposed interlocal agreement seeking collaboration with the County regarding the future use of the State Park adjacent to Norriego Point.

On Tuesday, February 17, Mayor Bobby Wagner will attend the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners meeting to request the interlocal agreement between the City and the County. The Mayor will be accompanied by the City Manager and City Attorney. The meeting will take place from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at 1250 Eglin Parkway North in Shalimar (the Okaloosa County Administration Complex).
