Noles Head to SMU on Thursday

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women’s basketball team (6-13, 1-6 ACC) will travel to Dallas for a contest against SMU (8-11, 1-6 ACC) on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
 
The Seminoles will play in the Moody Coliseum for the first time in program history. FSU welcomed SMU to the ACC on Dec. 8, 2024, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.  In the only meeting of the series, FSU defeated the Mustangs 93-85.
 
Florida State has six players averaging at least 8.0 points per game, led by Solè Williams who is averaging 15.0 per game.
 
The Seminoles also lead the ACC in free throws made per game (14.89) and attempts (19.95), as Jasmine Shavers leads the league in free throw percentage at 85.7.

The game will air on the ACC Network Extra with John Liddle and Austyn Iven on the call. The Seminole Sport Network can be found on 96.5 The Spear and on the Sirius XM app with Jack Kavovit and Melissa Bruner.

 

The Last Time Out

After a pair of contests on the road, the Seminoles were back at home to host RV/23 North Carolina on Sunday.

 

Jasmine Shavers led all scorers with 15 points and Emma Risch followed with 10.

 

The Seminoles went 15-of-17 at the free throw line, turning in the highest performance this season by percentage at 88.2.
