Women’s Golf Signs Alice Johansson
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women’s golf head coach Mic Potter announced Wednesday the signing of Alice Johansson and will join the women’s golf program for the 2026-27 campaign. Johansson makes her way to Tuscaloosa after spending two seasons at Washington State.
“We are extremely excited to add Alice Johansson to our roster! Alice is a part of the Swedish National Team development program. The Swedish model is one of the most successful and competitive programs in the world. Alice already has two collegiate wins to her credit while at Washington State. We look forward to Alice continuing her winning ways at The Capstone beginning in the fall of 2026.”

Washington State (2024-25)
- Spent two seasons at Washington State, competing in 19 tournaments throughout her collegiate career
- A 2025 All-West Coast Conference Team selection
- During her sophomore season, Johansson averaged a team-best 73.37 score, which ranked as the fourth-best single season average in school history
- Won a pair of tournaments in the Bettie Lou Evan Invitational and the Ptarmigan Ram Classic
- Tied for the third-most wins in a single season in WSU program history
- Notched five top-25 finishes and four top-10 finishes
- A 2025 WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention
Prep
- Attended Celsiusskolan National School of Golf in Uppsala
- Played on the Swedish National Women’s Golf Team and the Gävle Golf Club
- Won four tournaments during her prep career, including the 2022 JMI Täby Svea Leasing Junior Open
- Placed first at the 2021 Angso International Junior Masters Invitational
