Gators Gymnastics Season Begins Friday
The Gators host preseason No. 24 North Carolina, Temple and West Virginia in the meet presented by GFL Environmental. Competition is set for 6:45 p.m. in the Exactech Arena, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

About Friday’s Meet:
Three teams open the season Friday – Florida, North Carolina and West Virginia. Temple’s season started Sunday with a runner-up finish at 191.35 at Rutgers.
Friday’s quad includes two sets of sisters. Freshman Amelia Disidore and junior All-American Gabby Disidore are the fifth set of sisters to compete for the Gators. Another set of sisters, each on a different team, also compete Friday. Gator junior All-American Kayla DiCello and her younger sister, WVU sophomore Karleigh DiCello, also compete Friday in the Exactech Arena. There is another Gator with a younger sister competing as a collegiate this season. Junior Skylar Draser’s sister, Madison Draser, is a freshman for Towson.

Arrive Early to Cheer Your Gators
Here’s some tips to expedite your trip to the Exactech Arena Friday:
Getting TO the Arena:
- Season parking holders can enter the O’Connell Center lot off Lemerand Drive OR SW 2nd Avenue.
- A complimentary parking shuttle transports fans from which originates at Garage 109 (located at corner of Archer Road and Lemerand Drive to the O’Connell Center. The parking shuttle begins at 5 p.m. Parking map for Gator Gymnastics.
- Use the Waze app to provide the best route to parking shuttle.
- For 5-10 minutes following Gator gymnastics meets, Lemerand Drive will close for north and south bound traffic from University Avenue to Stadium Road to provide pedestrians a safe exit.

Getting IN the Arena:
- To get tickets ahead of Friday’s meet, visit the FloridaGators.com ticket site or stop by the Gator Ticket Office (open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.).
- Gates 1 and 2 will be open for each gymnastics meet. UF students should enter at Gate 3.
- Check out the Exactech Arena’s apparatus layout.
- All Gator Athletics tickets are mobile. Visit Mobile Ticketing Guide to help expediate your entrance into the arena. To help zip through the entrance, be sure to add your tickets to your digital wallet in case of possible connectivity issues outside the gate. Then have tickets up on device to present for scanning.
- Bags are checked before entering the building. Everyone will go through the O’Connell Center metal detectors when entering. When using the metal detectors fans need to empty their pockets prior to screening, then walk through the detector. After that, tickets will be scanned and then you are ready to cheer your Gators!

The 2026 Gators:
- The 18-member 2026 Gator team includes a national high eight All-Americans with 41 All-America honors.
- The senior class includes Lori Brubach and a trio of All-Americans – eMjae Frazier, Selena Harris-Miranda and Riley McCusker.
- The Gators biggest class are the six juniors – Skylar Draser, and All-Americans Alyssa Arana, Gabby Disidore, Danie Ferris and Anya Pilgrim. Returning to competition this season after taking a gap year in 2024 to pursue an Olympic berth and last season to recover from injury is All-American and 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year Kayla DiCello.
- Four sophomores return this season – Skye Blakely, Lily Bruce, Ly Bui and Taylor Clark.
- Four freshmen join the Gators this season – Jayla Booker (Coral Springs, Fla.), Amelia Disidore (Overland Park, Kan.), Maddy Dorbin (Lilburn, Ga.) and Jocelyn Sasson (Clermont, Fla.).
- Florida returns two who used 10.0s to win 2025 Southeastern Conference Championship meet event titles – Selena Harris-Miranda (vault) and Riley McCusker (bars)
- Six Gators own collegiate 10.0s –Kayla DiCello (bars), Danie Ferris (vault), eMjae Frazier (beam, floor), Selena Harris-Miranda (vault, bars, beam), Riley McCusker (bars) & Anya Pilgrim (floor).
- Of the 11 named to the U.S. Senior National team following the 2025 Xfinity U.S. Championships, Skye Blakely is one of four on 2026 collegiate rosters. Blakely earned her fifth consecutive U.S. Senior National team berth in August 2025.
- Skye Blakely competed in her third World Championships in October in Jakarta, Indonesia. She advanced to the 2025 World Championships uneven bars final, placing fourth overall.
- Of the Gators currently enrolled at UF, Skye Blakely is among five to compete at a World Championships. Kayla DiCello (2021, 2023 replacement athlete), eMjae Frazier (2021) and Riley McCusker (2018) also represented the U.S. in World Championships action. Blakely (2022, 2023), McCusker (2018) and DiCello (2023) won team gold. DiCello took all-around bronze in 2021. Anya Pilgrim represented Barbados at the 2023 Worlds in Antwerp, Belgium.
- Florida’s six who have been a part of U.S. Senior national teams leads the nation – Skye Blakely (2021, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26), Ly Bui (2023-24), Kayla DiCello (2019-20, 2021, 2022, 2024, 2025), Amelia Disidore (2023-24), eMjae Frazier (2020, 2021-22) & Riley McCusker (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2021).
- Gabby and Amelia Disidore are the fifth set of sisters to be a part of the Florida gymnastics team: Lynn (1981-84) and Karen McDonnell (1983-84), Mackenzie (2011-14) and Bridgette Caquatto (2013-16), Alyssa (2018-22) and Rachel Baumann (2023), Sloane (2022-25) and Skye Blakely (2025-present)
Florida in 2024:
Florida claimed seventh in the Gators’ 41st NCAA Championships’ appearance in 2025. Florida tied for third in Southeastern Conference regular season action in 2025 and was third in the SEC Championship meet.
Five Gators turned in a national high nine 10.0 marks. UF was one of two programs with a 10.0 in each event: Sloane Blakely (floor), Danie Ferris (vault), Selena Harris-Miranda (vault-2x, beam), Riley McCusker (bars), Leanne Wong (bars, beam, floor). Florida returns one and added one with collegiate 10.0s on their competitive resumes. Junior Kayla DiCello earned two bars 10.0s as a Gator freshman in 2023. She took a gap year in 2024 to train for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team and was sidelined in 2025 recovering from Achille’s tear suffered at the Olympic Trials. Senior eMjae Frazier, the 2024 WCGA West Region Gymnast of the Year, earned three 10.0s while with California – two on floor and one on beam. She transferred to Florida last summer after earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology last May.
