Florida Women’s Tennis Ranked No. 23 in the Nation
Gainesville, Fla. — The ITA released its Division I Women’s Collegiate Tennis preseason team rankings Wednesday morning, and Florida is ranked No. 23 in the nation to start the 2026 spring season.
The Gators are led by a quartet of nationally-ranked singles players. Sophomore Gabia Paskauskas finished the fall season ranked No. 11 in the country, while senior Xinyi Nong was 86th, sophomore Nikola Daubnerova was 105th, and junior Valery Gynina was 118th. Daubnerova and Nong completed fall doubles play ranked 17th in the nation.
The Gators are one of nine SEC schools ranked in the top 25. Florida begins its 2026 slate of dual matches on January 17, as the Gators travel to Charleston Southern University for a 1 p.m. EST match against the Buccaneers.
