Walton County Landfill and Trash Collection Holiday Schedule 

 

 

Walton County – 12/18/25 – The Walton County Landfill will be completely closed on Dec. 25 and January 1, 2026.

The Landfill will not be open to the general public on Dec. 23, 24, 26 or January 2, 2026

 

The WM Holiday Schedule for this year:

For Commercial Customers: 

•        Wednesday regularly routed customers: Normal Operating Schedule

•        Thursday regularly routed customers: Will be serviced on either Wednesday or Friday

•        Friday regularly routed customers: Will be serviced on either Friday or Saturday

 

For Residential Customers: 

•        Wednesday regularly routed Garbage, Yard Waste & Bulk customers: Normal Operating Schedule

•        Thursday regularly routed Garbage customers: Will be serviced on your next regularly scheduled service day

•        Friday regularly routed Garbage customers: Normal Operating Schedule 

•        Thursday regularly routed Yard Waste & Bulk customers: Will be serviced on Friday

•        Friday regularly Yard Waste & Bulk customers: Will be serviced on either Friday or Saturday

 

Supplemental Holiday Collection Services for Residential Customers serviced by Roll Carts, pursuant to Section 4.1(A).

Franchisee shall collect up to three bags of MSW outside the Carts during the next Yard Trash Collection Day after Christmas Day and New Years Day at no additional charge.

For purposes of this section, Franchisee is permitted to comingle Yard Trash with MSW and Bags – defined as plastic sacks designed to store and enclose MSW with sufficient wall strength to maintain physical integrity when lifted by the top. Total weight of a bag with contents shall not exceed 40 pounds.
