On December 10, Walton County District 1 Commissioner Dan Curry hosted a Mental Health Town Hall at the New Freeport City Community Center, bringing the community together to discuss mental health awareness and available local resources and highlighting the importance of support, education, and connection for individuals and families.

The event featured guest speakers from Lakeview of Walton County, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Community Pathways, United Way Emerald Coast, The Mind Card, and Walton County Schools.
