Ellie McIntrye Joins Florida Soccer as Director of Operations

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida soccer head coach Nick Zimmerman announced the addition of Ellie McIntyre as the Gators’ Director of Operations.

 

McIntyre comes to Florida after serving as an assistant coach at Georgia Southern for the 2025 season.

A May 2025 graduate of Georgia Southern, McIntyre earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science while competing as a student-athlete. She played three seasons for the Eagles from 2021-24, appearing in 42 matches and hitting three goals

 

A native of Buford, Ga., McIntyre began her collegiate career at the University of Mississippi in 2021 before transferring to Georgia Southern. Prior to college, she was a four-year standout at Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Ga, where she earned All-Region 8-AAAAAAA Midfielder of the Year honors as a senior.

 

McIntyre is a three-time Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s Academic List honoree and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in coaching education.
