GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Ty Host joins the Gators as an incoming freshman for the Fall 2026 season. Host comes from Brisbane, Australia where he played ITF Juniors and ITF Men’s tournaments and holds a UTR of 12.27.

Host earned a career high ranking of No. 34 in ITF Juniors in January of 2025. In ITF Juniors, Host earned a record of 6-11 in singles and 13-10 in doubles. He has a total of nine ITF Juniors titles, with four from singles and five from doubles. His singles titles include the J100 Johannesburg (2024), the J100 Gaborone (2023), the J60 Tacarigua (2023) and the J30 Tacarigua (2023). His doubles titles include the J200 Sydney (2024), the J30 San Jose (2023), the J100 Johannesburg (2023), the J30 Tacarigua (2023) and the J5 Woodbridge (2022).

While competing in ITF Men’s tournaments, Host went 9-20 in singles and 6-9 in doubles with no titles. He started competing on the professional level in February 2024, elevating his game against some more experienced international players.
