Gator Soccer Adds Transfer Hannah Jibril

Last Updated: December 16, 2025By

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida soccer adds All-Southeastern Conference defender Hannah Jibril to the fall 2026 roster.

Jibril led all Bulldogs in minutes played as a junior in 2025, playing the entirety of 11 matches. In her MSU debut, she scored the game-winner versus Jacksonville State. Jibril earned 2025 All-SEC third team honors.

“Hannah’s one of the top centerbacks in the SEC and country.” Florida Head Coach Nick Zimmerman said. “Her ability in possession to dictate our tempo from the back and her ability to lead is something that is very important as we move forward. She is eager to learn and a true student of the game. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to our group.”

Jibril is the 11th newcomer to join the Gators for the 2026 season as UF signed four freshmen last month and already announced the signing of six MSU transfers this week – Tatum Borman, Charlotte Grim, Zoe Main, Ella Petersen, Adia Symmonds and Kyra Taylor.
