Gators in the NFL: Week 14
Each week of the 2025-26 season, FloridaGators.com will cover all of the best moments from the NFL stars who made a name for themselves in Gainesville.
Offense
Chimere Dike – WR – Tennessee Titans
Dike scores again! For this third receiving touchdown of the year, the rookie wideout hauled in a 5-yard strike on third down to extend Tennessee’s lead to 11 in the fourth quarter. After the score, the passionate rookie broke out the Gator Chomp in celebration, helping propel the Titans to their second win of the season.

Kyle Pitts – TE – Atlanta Falcons
Pitts with the exceptional grab! Late in the second quarter, Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins connected with the veteran tight end on a deep 30-yard pass. The explosive play highlighted Atlanta’s longest drive of the day and Pitts’ longest reception of the season, setting up a field goal and providing much-needed points before halftime.
Pitts finished with six catches for 90 yards, marking the most yards he’s recorded in a single game this season.

Defense
C.J. Gardner-Johnson – S – Chicago Bears
Way to set the tone on defense! On the Packers’ opening drive, their 13-play march came to a sudden stop when C.J. Gardner-Johnson intercepted Jordan Love and returned it 28 yards, silencing the crowd in Green Bay.
The seventh-year safety was all over the field throughout the day, finishing with 10 tackles (six solo) and one PBU in the Bears’ divisional match up.

Alex Anzalone – LB – Detroit Lions
Need defense? Anzalone’s got you covered. The ninth-year linebacker put the straps on Thursday night against the Cowboys, breaking up three passes and collecting seven tackles (four solo) in a strong all-around defensive performance.
Special Teams
Tommy Townsend – P – Houston Texans
The Texans dominated on Sunday night against the Chiefs, and former Kansas City punter Tommy Townsend played a major role. He was busy all evening, punting eight times for a whopping 329 yards.
Three of those punts were downed inside the Kansas City 10-yard line, putting the Chiefs offense on its heels. They failed to score on any of the drives starting deep in their own territory, giving Houston the victory in the field position battle.
Evan McPherson – K – Cincinnati Bengals
Kicks in the weather are s(no)w problem for McPherson, as he drilled all four of his extra points in a major snowstorm in Buffalo this past Sunday.
