GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Good morning, folks.

In what has already been a milestone week for the Gators with the hiring of head coach Jon Sumrall, today is National Signing Day.

Sumrall’s claim as the “newest Gator” has already expired.

Florida is off to a quick start this morning, officially adding five players by 8 a.m.: TE Hese Kent, OL Tyler Chukuyem, OL Javarii Luckas, ILB Malik Morris and WR Justin Williams.

This is a transition class for the Gators. Still, the commitments they had under former head coach Billy Napier largely held over the past six weeks.
