GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida’s women’s cross country team returns to Columbia, Mo. on Saturday, Nov. 22 for the final meet of the 2025 season at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. They will be accompanied by Kelvin Cheruiyot, who will compete in the men’s 10k as an individual qualifier from his South Regional title.

The women will start the day with the 6k at 10:20 a.m. ET, as Cheruiyot competes in his second 10k of the season at 11:10 a.m. ET.

The No. 3 Gators will face 29 nationally ranked programs, including No. 1 NC State and No. 2 BYU. Among Florida’s entries are South Regional top ten finishers Judy Chepkoech, Hilda Olemomoi and Tia Wilson, who finished fourth, fifth and sixth overall in Huntsville, Ala. The South Regional and SEC champions will make their third consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championships, after posting a program best placement of fifth in 2023.

Cheruiyot aims to defend his win streak after solidifying first place finishes in his last three meets, including an SEC individual crown and topping the South Region for an automatic bid in the NCAA Cross Country Championships. The freshman became the first Gator man to automatically qualify since 2015.

The 2025 NCAA Championships will be available for viewing on ESPNU, with live results available on PrimeTime Timing
