Football’s Proctor Named Finalist for Lombardi Award
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama’s Kadyn Proctor was named a finalist for the Lombardi Award, the Rotary Club of Houston announced Tuesday.
Proctor is one of four finalists for the Lombardi, which is presented annually to the college football offensive or defensive lineman who, in addition to outstanding performance and ability, best exemplifies the character and discipline of NFL Hall of Famer Vince Lombardi. The winner of the 2025 Lombardi Award will be announced during a formal dinner and award ceremony in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Alabama has had three Lombardi winners in program history including Cornelius Bennett (1986), Jonathan Allen (2016) and most recently Will Anderson Jr. (2022).
Kadyn Proctor
Left Tackle, Junior
- An intimidating presence on the left side of the Alabama offensive line
- Started all 10 games at left tackle, helping the Crimson Tide to an 8-2 start and a 6-1 mark in Southeastern Conference play
- Protects for an Alabama offensive attack that is averaging 403.4 yards of total offense and 31.6 points per game
- Owns an 81.5 overall grade according to Pro Football Focus, the second-highest overall grade among SEC offensive tackles
- Surrendered just one sack in 421 pass blocking snaps this season and has not allowed a sack in nine consecutive games since the Florida State contest
- Also contributed as a ball carrier, turning four carries into 15 rushing yards and three first downs
