Softball Caps Off Fall Exhibition Slate
With the win, the Gators improved to 7-1 on the fall season, with six of those victories coming at home. Florida’s sole loss was to Florida State on Oct. 26.

Fall Season Individual Highlights:
- Six Gators hit above .400: Townsen Thomas (.564), Jocelyn Erickson (.519), Kenleigh Cahalan (.469), Kendall Grover (.441), Taylor Shumaker (.43) and Gabi Comia (.424)
- Six Gators tallied double-digit RBIs: Madison Walker (14), Grover (13), Shumaker (13), Cahalan (12), Cassidy McLellan (12) and Erickson (11)
- Five different players combined for 14 Florida home runs: Walker (4), Grover (3), Shumaker (3), Erickson (2) and McLellan (2)
- Erickson led the Gators in both on-base percentage (.641) and slugging percentage (.852)
- Walker hit a team-best four home runs, including a grand slam vs. Jacksonville, slugging .793 and driving in a team-high 14 runs
- Six of her nine hits went for extra bases, including a pair of doubles
- Thomas led the Orange & Blue in average, hits (22) and stolen bases (5-for-7)
- Cahalan and Grover led the Gators in doubles, each recording four
- Thomas and Grover each scored 14 runs apiece, a team-best
- Both Erickson and Grover drew a team-high nine walks, with Erickson also leading the Gators in hit by pitches (2)
- Comia had two of Florida’s three triples and was 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts
- Keagan Rothrock pitched a team-high 20 innings and held both the best ERA (.90) and most strikeouts on the pitching staff (31)
- Rothrock held opposing hitters to just a .132 batting average
- Olivia Miller held a 2.00 ERA in 18.0 innings of work, striking out 18
Fall Team Individual Highlights:
- The Gators outscored their opponents 110-27, hitting .398 collectively with a .608 team slugging and a .485 on-base percentage
- Florida batted 11 in all eight games of the fall
- The Gators struck out just 23 times in 344 at-bats
- On defense, Florida turned four double plays
- On the base path, the Gators were 17-for-20 in stolen base attempts
The Gators open the 2026 season on Feb. 6 vs. Illinois State at the USF-Rawlings Invitational at USF in Tampa.
