Walton County – 11/5/25 – The Walton County Overdose Prevention Task Force, in conjunction with the Walton County Health Department and Northwest Florida Health Network are now accepting applications for funding for the Coordinated Opioid Recovery (CORE) program.

This program is designed to create a network of addiction care throughout Walton County, integrating first responders/law enforcement, hospital emergency departments, and treatment facilities for a seamless system of care.

The deadline for application submission is close of business on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Proposals must align with the core strategies and approved uses of funding and receive initial approval from Northwest Florida Health Network to be considered for funding.
