Gators in the NFL: Week 10
Each week of the 2025-26 season, FloridaGators.com will cover all of the best moments from the NFL stars who made a name for themselves in Gainesville.
Offense
Trent Brown – OT – Houston Texans
Getting his first snaps of the season, veteran lineman Trent Brown stepped in at right tackle for the Texans and filled in seamlessly for their injured offensive line. He handled 75 offensive snaps (53 pass/22 run) and did exactly what was asked of him, holding down the edge with steady blocking. Brown didn’t allow a sack or quarterback hit the entire game.

Defense
C.J. Gardner-Johnson – S – Chicago Bears
Back-to-back games with a sack for C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who is quickly making a name for himself on his new team. He delivered on an immense play late in the fourth quarter with an 11-yard sack on Giants quarterback Russell Wilson, forcing a punt that set up Chicago’s game-winning touchdown.
The savvy veteran was everywhere in the Bears’ win, finishing with two sacks, a forced fumble and nine total tackles (seven solo).

Jason Marshall Jr. – CB – Miami Dolphins
Jason Marshall Jr. put together his best performance yet as a rookie, finishing with four tackles (three solo) and his first career pass deflection. He consistently held his own on the outside and made timely plays all afternoon. Marshall was a key force in a Dolphins defense that generated three turnovers and secured Miami’s first win over Buffalo in seven meetings.
Special Teams
Ventrell Miller – LB – Jacksonville Jaguars
Third-year linebacker Ventrell Miller made a major special teams impact against the Texans, punching the ball out of return man Tremon Smith’s hands for a forced fumble. The takeaway set Jacksonville up at the Houston 19-yard line, and the Jaguars capitalized on the short field, scoring the first touchdown of the game and jumping out to a ten-point lead early in the opening quarter.

Jeremy Crawshaw – P – Denver Broncos
