TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– The Alabama soccer team will host Northwestern in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament, the organization announced Monday. It marks the third time in four years that UA has competed at home for the opening round.

The Crimson Tide, an eighth seed, will welcome the Wildcats to Tuscaloosa for a 6 p.m. CT match on Friday. The selection marks the seventh overall appearance for Alabama in the NCAA Tournament and fifth overall berth by head coach Wes Hart.
