BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Fresh off capturing a pair of top-two team finishes at the Southeastern Conference Championships for the second consecutive year, Alabama cross country saw eight of its runners accumulate 12 All-SEC honors, the league office announced Monday.

All five scoring runners for the UA men’s SEC Championship-winning team landed on an All-SEC team, while the Crimson Tide women’s program saw three of its scoring contingent achieve the feat. All eight runners earned first, second or third team recognition, as four Alabama rookies also picked up all-freshman honors.
