Stetson was led by Cameron Thomas who scored 27 points to lead all scorers on the night.
“Credit to our kids for making a few plays down the stretch. I thought we showed some grit the last few minutes defensively against a good Stetson team. They do a really good job running their offense and executing. Cameron Thomas is good, and I thought their point guard dictated their tempo most of the night. [Aleah] Sorrentino does a really good job, the Ole Miss transfer. They’re really well coached – a great little hustling team – but I’m just proud of our effort though. I thought we showed some grit there in the last couple minutes defensively.
