OCSO Operation Dark Harvest Nets 14 Arrests

Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit have spent the past two weeks conducting undercover operations designed to identify and arrest online child predators.
They dubbed this latest effort “Operation Dark Harvest” and it resulted in the arrests of fourteen men accused of seeking out children with the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.
Sheriff Eric Aden said, “We will never let up on our ongoing work to stop depraved adults who attempt to prey on young people. Parents can play a crucial role in prevention by monitoring their children’s usage of social media, including activitities on gaming systems.”
