Bulldogs Face Wolves Sunday In Free Exhibition At Foley Field
The Bulldogs are in their third year under the direction of Ike Cousins head baseball coach Wes Johnson. Georgia is projected to be one of the premier teams in 2026 and features the nation’s top transfer portal class according to D1Baseball.com.
Georgia’s newcomer group has four of the top 37 transfer hitters and five of the top 38 transfer pitchers per D1Baseball.com. Also, Georgia welcomes back senior shortstop Kolby Branch, junior infielder/outfielder Tre Phelps, catcher/outfielder Daniel Jackson and infielder Ryan Black.
This is the lone fall exhibition for the Bulldogs. These two teams met during the regular season in Athens last year, and Georgia posted a 13-6 win. Fan information for Sunday’s exhibition includes the following:
*Gates open at 11 a.m. and will be free admission. Seating bowl is all general admission. No premium areas will be open.
*Parking including ADA Parking is in the S14 campus lot behind the outfield.
*Fans and professional baseball scouts must enter through the Pinecrest (behind home plate) or Rutherford Gates (3rd base side). No entry in Right Field.
*The concession stand will be open and selling various ballpark treats and beverages so no outside food or drink will be allowed. Stadium security personnel will be checking bags at the gates.
*Representatives from the UGA Bookstore will be on site on the first base side of the concession stand and selling Georgia Bulldog merchandise.
