Bulldogs Card Season-Best 21-Under in Round Two of Ka’anapali Classic

MAUI, Hawaii — The Georgia men’s golf team shot a season-best 21-under to move up one spot to third place after round two of the Ka’anapali Classic at the Royal Ka’anapali Golf Course on Tuesday.

  • The Bulldogs shot a collective 21-under in round two, tying the second-best score of the tournament and marking a team season-best round.  Georgia is 15 shots off the lead and three behind second at 32-under par after 36 holes.  
  • Freshman JD Culbreth shot a personal and team season-best round of 10-under, featuring 11 birdies.  The Thomasville, Ga. native is in fourth on the leaderboard.  
  • Sophomore Matt Moloney and senior Carter Loflin shot 4-under in round two.  The pair are tied for 11th on the leaderboard at 8-under for the tournament.  
  • Sophomore James Earle carded a 3-under round and is 5-under after 36 holes. 
  • Junior Grayson Wood went 1-under on the day with an eagle on the sixth hole.  
  • Individually, freshman Will Guthrie shot even par in round two.
