Hear from Head Coach Ryan Theis:
“Offensively efficiency was there, it dried up in the third, but came back in the fourth. We knew we needed a good serving effort to beat Oklahoma, so I was happy with that as well.”

On heading into the second half of the season, what he is looking for from his team…

“The old cliché of one match at a time…. We will always continue to try to work on side out percentage. That is a huge stat and if you can be over 65 percent, you have a pretty good chance to win, as well as unforced hitting errors.”

Sophomore Jaela Auguste on what the key has been to her high hitting efficiency and what separates her from other middle blockers…

“The connection between Stucky and I. We work really hard on it and I would say that we are always on top of it and we don’t ever let it go downhill…. I thrive off of the fast pace, so I think that’s where I separate myself.”

Outside hitter Aniya Madkin on heading into the second half of the season and what’s keeping the team together through the ups and downs…

“The SEC is a dog fight and every day we are putting work in at practice, being very purposeful with everything we are doing and just being there for each other. We all love each other and we are in this together.”
