NEW ORLEANS – Georgia men’s cross country moved into the national rankings for the first time since 2013, coming in at No. 20 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Week Four National Coaches Poll.

This marks the first time in 22 years that the Bulldogs appeared in the national rankings, the last time being when the men were ranked No. 29 in the 2013 cross country season. The Bulldogs’ No. 20 ranking this week also marks the highest ranking for the Georgia men since the 2003 season when the team were ranked No. 17.

The Bulldogs had a statement meet win this past weekend at Missouri’s Pre-National Invitational.  Georgia rocketed to No. 2 in the latest USTFCCCA South Region poll with the NCAA South Regional arriving Nov. 14.  The performance last week capped off an undefeated regular season, putting the men in prime position heading into the 2025 Southeastern Conference Cross Country Championships in Knoxville, Tenn., on Friday, Oct. 31.
