Gators in the NFL: Week 7

Last Updated: October 21, 2025By

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Former Gators contributed to wins in all three phases of the game this weekend, including a game-winning kick on prime time.

Each week of the 2025-26 season, FloridaGators.com will cover all of the best moments from the NFL stars who made a name for themselves in Gainesville.

Offense

Chimere Dike – WR – Tennessee Titans

Dike finds pay dirt! The rookie had a breakout day, hauling in a 38-yard touchdown for his first career NFL score. He was Tennessee’s spark throughout the game, piling up 168 all-purpose yards through the air, on the ground and in the return game.

Kyle Pitts – TE – Atlanta Falcons
Tying his season-high with seven catches in prime time, Pitts was a consistent outlet for Falcons’ quarterback Michael Penix Jr. With 62 yards receiving, Pitts is proving to be a dependable chain-mover with four first-down grabs under the lights.

Defense

Ventrell Miller – LB – Jacksonville Jaguars

Starting in front of an international crowd at Wembley Stadium, Ventrell Miller stepped up in place of the injured Devin Lloyd, recording eight tackles (five solo). The second-year linebacker’s instincts and effort stood out in the Jaguars’ overseas match up, showcasing his physicality on defense.

Gervon Dexter Sr. – DL – Chicago Bears
The Bears’ defense showed out on Sunday, setting the tone early with a fumble recovered by Gervon Dexter Sr. two minutes into the first quarter. The third-year nose tackle’s turnover led to a Chicago field goal, giving them their first lead in the 26-14 win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Special Teams

Evan McPherson – K – Cincinnati Bengals

A perfect Thursday night for the Bengals’ kicker Evan McPherson, who went four for four on field goals and three for three on extra points. McPherson got the call with seconds remaining on Thursday night, drilling a 36-yard game-winner to put the Bengals ahead of the Steelers on prime time.

Malik Davis – RB – Dallas Cowboys
In his first game of the 2025 season, Malik Davis immediately showed out, racking up three tackles on special teams. He played a pivotal role in the Cowboys’ win on Sunday, helping Dallas control field position throughout the game. His effort in coverage prevented Washington from gaining extra yardage on punt and kick returns.
