Giamichelle Ends Run at ITA All-American Championships in Round of 16
TULSA, Okla. – Senior Santiago Giamichelle fell in the round of 16 at the ITA All-American Championships on Friday.
No. 4 Aidan Kim (Ohio State) took the round of 16 battle 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the quarterfinals. Giamichelle ended his run at the competition with seven wins in singles including four wins against ranked opponents. More, alongside partner Derrick Chen, he won four doubles matches across pre-qualifying and qualifying.
The Bulldogs now turn their attention to a series of competitions from the end of September into October with two Challenger events in California and the ITA Regionals hosted by the University of Florida.
