KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Georgia volleyball team fell to 22nd-ranked Tennessee in the SEC opener at Food City Center on Wednesday, 3-0 (19-25, 24-26, 20-25).
 
Georgia is now 8-3 on the season and 0-1 in SEC play.

  • Junior Bianna Muoneke led the Bulldogs with 13 kills in the match. It was her 10th double-digit kill performance in as many matches. Seven of her kills came in the second set. Sophomore MK Patten (eight kills) and senior Adriana Rhoda (six) combined for 14 kills on the right side.
  • On the defensive side of the ball, redshirt-sophomore libero Makena Lim led the team with nine digs, and freshman setter Chloe Elarton put up seven with her 17 assists.
  • On the net, redshirt-junior Tori Harper led the defense with five blocks, and Patten had four.
