Khaleb McRae Claims Silver in 4x400m Relay at World Championships
TOKYO – Former Alabama track and field student-athlete Khaleb McRae (United States) claimed silver as a member of the men’s 4×400-meter relay event final at the World Athletics Championships. Running the third leg for the red, white and blue, McRae clocked a 44.61 split to aid the U.S. to a 2:57.83 time – just two one-thousandths-of-a-second ahead of third-place South Africa.
Earlier in the international meet, McRae reached the semi-final round of the men’s 400 meters.
