Ryan Flynn and Harriet Lockley in Second on the Player Leaderboard at the Lady Paladin Invitational
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Alabama women’s golf team remained atop the leaderboard after the second round of the Lady Paladin Invitational at 16-under par 560 (282-278). The Crimson Tide’s Ryan Flynn and Harriet Lockley are in second at 7-under par 137.
Alabama has three players inside the top-10 as Natachanok Tunwannarux joins Flynn and Lockley at 2-under par 142 (72-70) which places her in a tie for ninth place overall. As a team, the Crimson Tide posted the lowest average score on Par 4 holes (3.97) and on Par 3 holes (3.00).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Harriet Lockley moved up four spots on the player leaderboard, and is in a tie for second place at 7-under par 135 (69-68)
- Staying atop the player leaderboard, Ryan Flynn carded a 2-under par 70, also tied for second overall after 36 holes
- Jumping up seven spots on the leaderboard, Natachanok Tunwannarux shot a 2-under par 70, vaulting up to ninth overall
- Mattison Frick was the fourth player to shoot under par for the Tide throughout the second round, carding a 2-under par, moving uop 17 spots into 19th overall
- Julia Sánchez Morales improved four spots, vaulting up to 7-over par 149 (75-74) tied for 53rd place
- Competing as individuals, Grace Crawford sits in 53rd overall at 7-over par 149 (75-76) while Amanda Gyllner carded a 10-over par 154 (79-75), finishing the day 70th overall
TEAM RESULTS
- The Tide leads the tournament field by 10 strokes with High Point sitting in second at 6-under par
- Florida Gulf Coast’s Jordan Fischer leads the player leaderboard at 8-under par
NEXT UP
- Alabama will begin the third and final round at 9 .m. CT at the Furman University Golf Course
