Cary, N.C. — Deniz Dilek defeated Arkansas’s Katarina Pavlechova in straight sets 6-3, 7-6(4) to continue to day two of the singles pre-qualifiers.
 
Tournament Information:

• The All-American Championships also serve as a qualifying event for the NCAA Doubles and Singles Championships.
• Ten singles players (eight main draw quarterfinalists and two consolation finalists) and four doubles teams will earn spots through this tournament.
• Pre-qualifying action will finish up Sept. 21 followed by qualifying from Sept. 22-23 and lastly, the main draw will run from Sept. 24-28.
