Bulldogs Send Five to ITA All-Americans

Cary, N.C. — Five Bulldogs are set to represent Georgia at the ITA Women’s All-American Championship starting Saturday, Sept. 20 in Cary, N.C.
 
Quick Hits:

  • The All-American Championships also serve as a qualifying event for the NCAA Doubles and Singles Championships.
  • Ten singles players (eight main draw quarterfinalists and two consolation finalists) and four doubles teams will earn spots through this tournament.
  • Pre-qualifying action will take place Sept. 20-21 followed by qualifying from Sept. 22-23 and lastly, the main draw will run from Sept. 24-28.
  • Deniz Dilek will kick the weekend off in pre-qualifying against Arkansas’s Katarina Pavlechova at 1:30 p.m. Additionally, freshman Emma Dong will be present as an on-site alternate.
  • The remaining Bulldogs: No. 28 Aysegul Mert, No. 110 Patricija Paukstyte, and No. 100 Sofia Rojas will compete in singles.
