Last Updated: September 4, 2025By

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia women’s tennis team has released its 2025 fall schedule, head coach Drake Bernstein announced on Wednesday.

As select players gear up to take part in 11 events over a three-month stretch, the team will begin its fall campaign with the Kitty Harrison Invitational hosted by UNC from Sept. 12-14 in Chapel Hill, N.C. Following this, the Bulldogs will jump straight into the annual ITA All-Americans tournament from Sept. 20-28 in Cary, N.C.

After one week off, select Bulldogs will compete in five different professional tournaments. They will begin with W100 Edmond from Oct. 6-12 in Edmond, Okla., followed by the W100 Macon from Oct. 13-19 in Macon, Ga.

Continuing with ITA play, Georgia will head south to the ITA Regionals from October 16-20 in Orlando, Fla. This begins the Bulldogs back-to-back tournament stretch with W35 Norman from Oct. 20-26 in Norman, Okla., and the Rome Collegiate Invite from Oct, 24-26 in Rome, Ga., both happening simultaneously. The Bulldogs will then head back to Orlando for W35 Orlando from Nov. 3-9.

Depending on prior ITA results, the Bulldogs will head to either Baton Rouge, La. for the ITA Sectionals or San Diego, Calif. for the ITA Conference Masters, taking place Nov. 6-9. This will serve as the final ITA competition before the Bulldogs wrap up the fall slate with the NCAA Singles & Doubles Tournament from Nov. 18-23 in Orlando.

Georgia women’s tennis features an almost split roster with five newcomers and six returners for the 2025-2026 season. Senior Anastasiia Lopata will lead the Bulldogs in singles as she finished last season ranked No. 13 in the ITA. Junior Aysegul Mert will be a strong force in doubles finishing last season with a 31-10 overall doubles record and advancing to the ITA Regionals Championships.
