Walton County – 08/27/25 – The Walton County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) recognized two longtime county employees who are retiring soon. County Administrator Brian Kellenberger introduced North Walton Mosquito Control Director Brenda Hunt, who has been with the county for 37 years. Kellenberger also recognized Walton County Environmental Planner Mike Currie who is retiring after 20 years of service.

“Thank you both,” said Kellenberger. “Brenda, 37 years is a long time and we appreciate you coming to work every day and making sure that the North Walton Mosquito Control District is kept in good shape.”
