Summer Gators: 2025-26 Men’s Tennis Roster Stays Busy with Summer Tournaments
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The 2025-26 Men’s Tennis team has been busy this offseason training in different tournaments all around the world. Each of these different tournaments provided the players with a mix of playing surfaces mainly focusing on hard courts and clay courts to help develop not only their skills but their strategies during matches.
Here’s what the team’s been up to this summer:
Francesco Cordova | Sophomore | Katy, Texas
The sophomore from Katy, Texas competed in three notable tournaments over the summer. Cordova spent time playing in the Davis Cup representing Guatemala, playing in a UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) PTT (Pro Tennis Tour) tournament in Champaign, Ill. And playing in a M25 Santo Domingo tournament. In all of these tournaments, Cordova earned a 4-5 singles record.
Kevin Edengren | Junior | Stockholm, Sweden
The junior from Stockholm, Sweden played in four tournaments totaling a singles record of 23-10. The tournaments Edengren competed in include two M15 Kursumlijska Baja tournaments, a M15 Grodzisk Mazowlecki tournament, a M25 Värnamo tournament and a M15 Monastir tournament. In those tournaments, Edengren qualified seven main draws and was able to travel to six different countries including, Sweden, Tunisia, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Belgium.
Adhithya Ganesan | Junior | Clarksburg, Md.
Ganesan enters into his third season with the Gators after competing in nine tournaments for singles and doubles this summer, earning a singles record of 13-10. Of the tournaments he competed in, Ganesan played in an ATP 500 Washington tournament, two M15 Hillcrest tournaments, a M25 Hillcrest singles and doubles tournament, a M25 Tulsa tournament, two M25 Santo Domingo tournaments and a M25 Orlando tournament.
Henry Jefferson | Junior | London, England
Jefferson comes into his junior season after earning a 6-3 singles record from the tournaments he competed in. These tournaments include a M15 Monastir tournament and a UTR PTT in Athens. Jefferson also competed in the County Cup Division I League where he went 13-2.
Jeremy Jin | Junior | Sydney, Australia
Jin competed in two International Tennis Federation tournaments, which included two M15 Brisbane tournaments. On top of the two ITF tournaments, Jin also competed for Australia in the World University Games that took place in China. All of these events earned him a 12-6 singles record, a 1-1 doubles record and a 2-1 mixed doubles record.
Tanapatt Nirundorn | Senior | Bangkok, Thailand / Hilton Head, S.C.
Nirundorn earned a singles record of 24-8, playing in seven tournaments from this summer. The tournaments include UTR PTT tournaments in Athens, Ga., Blacksburg, Va., Jacksonville, Fla., Winston-Salem, N.C., Denver, Colo. and Tuscaloosa, Ala. for singles and an ITF M25 Louisville tournament for doubles. In those tournaments, Nirundorn placed first in the UTR PTT Denver, Colo. against Gator grad JanMagnus Johnson, second in the Tuscaloosa, Ala. tournament and third in both the Winston-Salem, N.C. and the Jacksonville, Fla. tournaments.
Pablo Perez Ramos | Redshirt Senior | Canary Island, Spain
Transferring in as a redshirt senior from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Ramos competed in three UTR PTT tournaments over the summer. These tournaments took place in Athens, Ga., Blacksburg, Va., and Portugal where he amassed an 8-6 singles record.
Andreas Timini | Freshman | Cyprus
Entering his first year as a Gator, Rimini played in seven singles tournaments and five doubles tournaments. The singles tournaments included two M15 Kursumlijska Banja tournaments, two M15 Casablanca tournaments, two M15 Heraklion tournaments and a M25 Heraklion tournament. The doubles tournaments also took place at two M15 Kursumlijska Banja tournaments, a M15 Casablanca tournament, a M15 Heraklion tournament and a M25 Heraklion tournament.
