The Crimson Tide Signs Two Ahead of the 2025-26 Season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– The Alabama women’s tennis program has signed a pair of incoming student-athlete for the upcoming 2025-26 season, head coach Jonatan Berhane announced on Monday. Freshman Mariia (Mary) Sidelnyk enters as a top-ranked junior player from Kyiv, Ukraine, while Kristina Paskauskas, a transfer from NC State, is an ITF Pro Circuit title holder from London, England.

- Won the singles title in the J5 Baku Autumn Cup in Azerbaijan (2021)
- Finalist in the singles main draw of the J60 Adazi (2024)
- Two-time singles finalist in the J30 Chisinau Biotehnos Series Cup (2023)
- Advanced to the finals of the J30 Skopje (2023)
- Currently holds an ITF Junior ranking
Kristina Paskauskas | Junior | NC State | London, England
- Transfer from NC State where she played two seasons (2023-24 and 2024-25)
- Collected a total of 17 singles victories and 27 doubles wins during her two years with the Wolfpack
- Played at the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 spots in NC State’s singles lineup in 2025
- Served on the No. 3 doubles team during both of her seasons with the Wolfpack
- Won the singles title in the W15 Monastir (Oct. 2022)
- Claimed the doubles title twice at the W15 Monastir championships, which included earning her first ITF Pro Circuit title (May 2022 and June 2022)
- Named an ITF Junior singles champion in 2019 and a two-time doubles champion in 2019 and 2021
