Haack Announces 2025-26 Schedule for Bulldogs

 ATHENS, Ga. — The 2025-26 University of Georgia men’s golf team will travel to three tournaments within the state and return to several familiar sites during head coach Chris Haack‘s 30th year at the helm.  

“We are excited about the great group of guys we have on our team and the incredible courses we’re going to compete on this year,” Haack said. “We are eager to get started.” 

In total, Georgia will play in seven tournaments that the team participated in last season. 

The Bulldogs will open the season Aug. 29-31 in the Carmel Cup in Pebble Beach, Calif. At the Spyglass Hill Golf Course before playing in the Ben Hogan Collegiate, which takes place Sept. 29-30 in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Colonial Country Club. The following week the Bulldogs travel north to the Hamptons Intercollegiate at the Maidstone Club on Long Island, New York. 

 

The Bulldogs travel to Biloxi, Mississippi for the Fallen Oaks Collegiate Oct. 18-20 before wrapping up the fall with a trip to Maui, Hawaii, Oct. 25-28 for the Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational.

The Bulldogs will return to action in the spring at the Puerto Rico Classic at the Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, home of the PGA TOUR’s Puerto Rico Open on Feb. 9-11, 2026. Georgia will then travel out west to Las Vegas for the Southern Highlands Collegiate on March 1-3. 

Georgia’s first in-state event will take place in Greensboro for the Linger Longer Classic at the Landings Golf Club on March 20-22. The team shot 30-under-par, to finish in first by two strokes in 2025 and five Bulldogs finished in the top-ten. 

 

The final two tournaments of the regular season will also be local when the Bulldogs play at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational in Augusta on April 4-5 and then at The Ford, held at the Ford Golf and River Club in Savannah on April 12-13. 

The postseason will open with the SEC Championship at Sea Island Golf Club on Sea Island, April 22-26. Georgia is slated to be a host for the NCAA Regional scheduled for May 18-20. The NCAA Championship will take place May 29-June 3 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
